Forging Industry is continuing to perform mainly due to the growth of automobile, Oil & Gas, Railways, Defence & Infrastructure sectors in the country. Many International Sourcing teams are looking at India as the most dependable sourcing hub. Needless to mention, Forging Industry must excel in reliability and delivery while being most competitive with overseas competitors.

Sustaining the optimum QCD levels coupled with continuous improvement in all key elements can only be accomplished with training, knowledge sharing & technological up gradation.

Forging Technology Forum is committed to help the industry in achieving this goal by On Site & Classroom training, real time problem solving, knowledge sharing by highly skilled and experienced faculty members.

Fifteen years ago, a small group of like-minded enthusiastic and dedicated people from various reputed forging industries came together to form the Forging Tech Forum as a part of FOUNDRY & FORGE TRAINING CENTRE (FFTC) under ARKEY TECHNICAL TRAINING & RESEARCH INSTITUTE, An Educational Trust Started by 5 Members from Forging & Foundry Industry in the year 2001.

To arrive at a win-win situation for both, we earnestly seek cooperation of all forging industry corporates to support the Forum by not only becoming a valued member but also sharing with us their changing needs & expectations with respect to employee knowledge enhancement.

Forum is committed to organising various activities that help in achieving the following purposes:

1. Disseminating knowledge of the evolution and development of technology and technical practices relevant to the industry, including technical training programmes.
2. Informing the industry at large of the best available commercial and management practices through training, conferences and other similar forums.
3. Supporting the industry in business development by facilitating interactions with buyers for various industry-specific products and services.
4. Assisting the industry in the development of human resource capabilities, with programmes to help attract the right talent and subsequent training and development.
5. Sharing and discussing with members on new developments in the marketplace with respect to statutory regulations or other related factors.
6. Challenges of Safety and Occupational hazards and training to overcome those.
7. Assist industry to get plant certification for ISO, EOHS, API, PED, IATF etc.

Forum has so far conducted over 14 Technical Conferences & more than 50 training programmes in Pune, Rajkot, Ludhiana, Delhi, & Bangalore.
